This specimen was lot 1664 in Sincona sale 82 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 6,000 CHF (about US$8,030 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles II. 1660-1685. 2 Guineas 1681, London. Second laureate bust. Sehr selten (Very rare). NGC AU Details. Kleine Kratzer auf Rückseite (Small scratches on obverse). From auction Spink 1261, London, November 2000, lot 356."
