This specimen was lot 5310 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 1,700 CHF (about US$2,562 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ. Glarus. 15 Schillinge 1813, Glarus. Schräg gerippter Rand. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Feine Patina. Gutes vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Glarus, fifteen schilling of 1813, Glarus mint, obliquely reeded edge. Rare in this condition, Nicely toned, About Uncirculated.)"
Glarus joined the Swiss Confederation in 1352 but did not strike coinage until after the collapse of the Helvetic Republic. This rare type is known for 1806-07, 1811-14. A tiny "B" mintmark can be spied on the knot of the wreath on the reverse. Fifteen schilling was forty five rappen; one hundred rappen made a frank.
Recorded mintage: 7,067 for all dates.
Specification: 4 g, silver, 26.5 mm diameter, obliquely reeded edge, this specimen 4.21 g.
