This specimen was lot 6288 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,034 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DRITTES REICH, 50 Reichspfennig 1941, F. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Polierte Platte. Exemplar der Sammlung Coenen. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 218, Osnabrück 2012, Nr. 6123. (Third Reich, fifty pfennig of 1941. Scarce in this quality, proof.)"
This type was struck at all the German mints 1939-44. This is a product of the Stuttgart mint. The previous issue (KM 95) was nickel.
