This specimen was lot 4238 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$347 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Taler (Ecu) 1623, Genf. Mzz. R - G. Schön-sehr schön. Randfehler. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, thaler of 1623, Geneva mint, mintmark RG. Fine-Very Fine, Edge flaws.)"
This thaler was issued in Geneva 1620-59 but only the 1622 and 1623 are reasonably available. It was accompanied by quarter and half thalers. One thaler was 96 sols.
