Sincona Auction 105, lot 3258

The second specimen was lot 3258 in Sincona Auction 105 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$686 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, Halbtaler 1622 R-G, Genf. Selten. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, half thaler of 1622, Geneva mint. Rare, Very Fine.)"

This type was struck 1621-30, 1633, 1638-41, 1657-59. All the dates are rare in nice condition (VF or better). It was accompanied by a thaler (KM 26), ducat (KM 42) and a double ducat (KM 46).

Specification: silver, this specimen 14.11 g.
