This specimen was lot 474 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €650 (about US$835 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"GELDERLAND Provincie 1581 - 1795. 1785, 1/2 Dukaton of 1/2 zilveren rijder, Silver Type IIb. Ruiter naar rechts boven provinciewapentje MO: NO: ARG: CONF: - BEL: PRO: D: GEL: &: C: Z. Mmt. korenaar aan het begin van het omschrift. Kz. jaartal in cartouche onder het wapen. Kabelrand. Uit de Ridders van Reymerswaele collectie. RR. NGC AU58. (province of Gelderland, half ducaton or half silver rider of 1785, type IIb. Obverse: mounted knight charges to right over the provincial arms, coronet mintmark in the legend; reverse: date in cartouche under the arms, cabled edge. Very rare, graded NGC AU-58.)"

Half ducatons accompanied full ducatons throughout the eighteenth century. This subtype is listed for 1761-69, 1773-75, 1785 and 1790.
