This specimen was lot 21301 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $1,116.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Gelderland. Silver Ducat (48 Stuiver), 1661. NGC MS-63. Typical crude manufacture, but fantastic quality. Good strike and lustrous with light attractive tone amongst the devices creeping out into the open fields of the obverse. A truly lovely example and sure to excite collectors. Ex: Fritz Rudolf Kunker Auction #122 March 14, 2007, Lot #3004." This type was struck 1659-64, 1674-80 and normally comes very crude.
