This specimen was lot 6152 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €400 (about US$524 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE, GELDERN, Provinz. Dukat 1661. GOLD. Sehr seltener Jahrgang. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Feiner Prägeglanz, min. gewellt, vorzüglich +. (Netherlands, province of Gelderland, ducat of 1661. Rare date, rare in this condition, fine luster, slightly bent, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1637-67 and 1686. An earlier type (KM 5) with a slightly cruder design was struck 1602-19, 1622, 1628-36.
