This specimen was lot 74147 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Gelderland. 6 Stuiver (Roosschelling), 1601. PCGS VF-25. A medium gray specimen with occasional weakness in the legends edging into the design elements. Moderate wear in keeping with the grade, but a solid specimen from an intriguing time in Dutch history." This type was struck 1601-02 and is quite scarce. A similar coin was struck for the province of Holland (KM 7).
