Gambia 1974 butut KM-14

This specimen was issued by Gambia in 1974 and 1985 as part of the F.A.O. series. Formerly a British colony embedded in Senegal, a series of sterling coinage was issued for it in 1966. This was replaced by decimal coinage in 1971.

Recorded mintage: 26,062,000 + 19,060,000 of the regular issue (KM 8).

Specification: 1.8 g, bronze, 17.15 mm diameter.
