This specimen was lot 841 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,593 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THE NETHERLANDS | Friesland, Provinz. Dukat 1610. Ritterdukat - Dukaat met de ridder. Selten. (Netherlands, province of Friesland, ducat of 1610, knight. Rare. NGC MS62.)"
This type was struck 1588-1616, 1619-20, 1626, 1629-40, 1643-57, 1663, 1666-68, 1676 and 1693. It earns a premium as Friesland was a less prolific issuer of coinage.
