This specimen was part of lot 5156 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 110 CHF (about US$166 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Freiburg/Fribourg, Stadt und Kanton, Batzen 1623, 1631, Freiburg. Lot von 2 Stück. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, city and canton of Fribourg, batzen of 1623 and 1631, Fribourg mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine, two pieces.)"
This type was struck 1622-23, 1630-31, 1639, 1641, 1648. Another batzen of 1622 (KM 15) features a tower in a circle of pearls on the obverse.
