Free City Proof 2 Gulden 1848, PF64 NGC, light russet toning with substantial reflectivity around the devices." This specimen is one of a series struck during the exciting days of 1848-49, when liberals gathered at Frankfurt to establish a German empire with a constitution and a parliament.
