Jean Elsen sale 158, lot 1830

This specimen was lot 1830 in Jean Elsen sale 158 (Brussels, March 2024), where it sold for €1,650 (about US$2,146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Cinquième République (1959-), AV 200 euro, 2017. Trésors de Paris - Statue de la Liberté. Ecrin et certificat n° 184. Titre 0,999. Flan poli. (France, Fifth Republic, since 1959, gold 200 euro of 2017, treasures of Paris--the Statue of Liberty. With box and certificate, Proof.)"

All the NCLT's of this denomination issued in 2017 were one ounce gold. Topics included chef Guy Savoy (Fr-1068), the Statue of Liberty (shown here), the age of iron and glass (Fr-1072), Scrooge McDuck (Fr-1076), the Venus de Milo (Fr-1077), the centennial of World War One (Fr-1080), the Place de la Concorde (Fr-1082), the Airbus (Fr-1085), the Spirit of St. Louis (Fr-1087) and Jean Paul Gaultier (Fr-1094). None are listed in the SCWC.
