This specimen was lot 56406 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. Partly Gilt Silver 50 Euros, 2017. NGC PROOF-70 Ultra Cameo. Serial number 0481/1000." We have used the Gadoury catalog number for this NCLT as it is not listed in the SCWC or Friedberg. It is one of a multi-year series titled "Trésors de Paris" (Treasures of Paris). For 2017, Gadoury notes this coin was accompanied by 10, 200 (Fr-1070) and two 500 (one silver, one gold: Fr-1069) euro designs.

Recorded mintage: 1,000.

Specification: 163.8 g, 0.950 fine silver, 5 oz ASW, 50 mm diameter.
