Sincona sale 63, lot 2660

This specimen was lot 2660 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 159 CHF (about US$199 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"EDELMETALL-AUKTION | FRANCE | Kingdom, 5. Republik, seit 1959. 50 Euro 2016. Monnaie de Paris. UNESCO. Banks of the Seine. Feingewicht total: 147.42 Gramm. Exemplar 31/500. Polierte Platte. FDC. In Originalschachtel mit Zertifikat. (fifth republic of France, fifty euro of 2016, Paris mint, the banks of the Seine, a UNESCO Heritage site. Uncirculated, In original box with certificate.)"

This fifty euro was also issued in gold (KM 2334).
