This specimen was lot 1224 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,316 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE | Kingdom. Louis XV. 1715-1774. Louis d'or aux deux L 1721 CC, Besançon. Réformation. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, gold louis of the two "L's", Besançon mint, reformed. Very rare, Good very fine.)"

This type was struck 1720-23 from twenty-seven mints but is very rare so there is little price difference between the mints. That coin in turn was superseded by the louis d'or aux lunettes, struck 1726-40.
