This specimen was lot 70110 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2020), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. Blanc a la Couronne, ND (1461-83). Bourges Mint. Louis XI. NGC MS-62. Obverse: Coat-of-arms surrounded by three crowns; all within trilobe; Reverse: Cross pattee, with crowns and lis alternating in each quarter; all within polylobe. Quite exceptional quality for the type, this piece presents a solid strike on a flan of good metal, along with retaining a good deal of lustrous brilliance." Duplessy notes that this issue had a face value of ten deniers tournois. The second emission of 1474 (Dupl-550A) had the weight reduced to 2.84 g. This is marked as a product of the Bourges mint by the "B" next to "+LVDOVICVS" on the obverse.
