This specimen was lot 26 in Sincona sale 46 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 575 CHF (about US$690 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Flandern, Grafschaft, Philipp IV. 1621-1665. Souverain dor 1652, Brügge. Vorzüglich. Knapper Schrötling. (county of Flanders, Philip IV, 1621-65, souverain d'or of 1652, Bruges mint. Extremely fine, Small flan.)"
This type is listed for Flanders for 1625, 1644, 1648-64. Similar lions d'or were struck in Brabant and Tournai.
