This specimen was lot 74399 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $195.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "FINLAND. 25 Pennia, 1915-S. Helsinki Mint. Nicholas II. PCGS MS-66." This type is listed for 1872-76, 1889-99, 1907-17 and was struck for Finland by the czarist administration. Russian defeats in World War One enabled the Finns, who had long chafed under Russian rule, to declare independence.
