This specimen was lot 70531 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "FINLAND. Penni, 1865. Alexander II. NGC MS-64 Brown. This attractive little near-Gem example boast a strong strike displaying lovely rich brown patina." This type is listed for 1864-71 and is cheap in circulated condition. Later types are noted for 1872-76, 1881-84 and 1888-1900. Russian defeats in World War One enabled the Finns, who had long chafed under Russian rule, to declare independence.
Recorded mintage: 515,000, a better date.
