This specimen was lot 1773 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €24,000 (about US$33,984 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"EUROPÄISCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH Alexander II., 1855-1881. 75 Penniä 1863, Stockholm, für Finnland. Probe in Silber. Gekrönter Doppeladler//Wertangabe über Jahreszahl, umher Eichenkranz. Von größter Seltenheit. Fast Stempelglanz. (grand duchy of Finland, Alexander II, 1855-81, silver pattern 75 penny, Stockholm mint. Obverse: crowned double headed eagle; reverse: value and date in an oak wreath, Extremely rare, about uncirculated.)"
Numista comments, "Illegally struck by P.U. Helle, the boss of the Finland mint during the 1950s. Originally planned to be minted but rejected."
