Fengtien (now Lioaning) Province lies north and west of North Korea, and east of Beijing. The provincial mint operated from 1897-1931.
The specimen shown was lot 60117 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $17,925. The catalog description[1] noted, “CHINA. Fengtien. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1903). 癸卯奉天省造七錢二分銀幣。 滿文“寶奉”。NGC AU-55.”
