Fengtien (now Lioaning) Province lies north and west of North Korea and east of Beijing. The provincial mint operated from 1897-1931.

The specimen shown was lot 60120 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $1,434. The catalog description[1] noted, “CHINA. Fengtien. 1 Mace 4.4 Candareens (20 Cents), CD (1904). 甲辰奉天省造一錢四分四釐銀幣。Sharply struck. 滿打。NGC MS-63. Ex: The Frank Robinson Collection.”
