Fengtien (now Lioaning) Province lies north and west of North Korea, and east of Beijing. The provincial mint operated from 1897-1931.

The specimen shown was lot 60122 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $35,850. The catalog description^[1] noted, “CHINA. Fengtien. 10 Cash, ND (ca. 1899). 奉天機器局造紫銅當十重二錢四分。NGC MS-63 BN. Ex: The Frank Robinson Collection.”
