Fengtien (now Lioaning) Province lies north and west of North Korea, and east of Beijing. The provincial mint operated from 1897-1931.

The specimen shown was lot 60114 in Ponterio sale 162 (Hong Kong, August 2011), where it sold for $2,689. The catalog description[1] noted, “CHINA. Fengtien. 20 Cents, Year 24 (1898). 光緒二十四年奉天機器局造二角銀幣。Toned. 有包漿。NGC AU-58.”
