This specimen was lot 53075 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $1,680. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Fengtien. 7.2 Candareens (10 Cents), Year 24 (1898). PCGS EF-40 Gold Shield. Very lightly handled and highly original, this pleasing minor offers a delightful, wholesome appearance." This seems to be the only time this province issued this denomination.

Recorded mintage: 8,000,000 all varieties.

Specification: 2.6 g, 0.820 fine silver.
