This specimen was lot 77413 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1584-86). London Mint; mm: Escallop. Elizabeth I. PCGS EF-40." This type was part of the sixth issue of 1582-1600 and was the first shilling minted since 1560-61. We don't know why the sixpences were dated but the shillings were not.
