This type was struck for El Salvador 1892-94. It is fairly common in circulated condition and is accompanied by silver five, ten and twenty centavos. Two kinds of pesos (KM 114 and KM 115.1) were struck that year.

Recorded mintage: 55,000 plus 43,000 of the flag type (KM 112).

Specification: 12.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .361 troy oz ASW.
