This type was struck for El Salvador 1892-93. It is fairly common in circulated condition and is accompanied by silver ten, twenty and fifty centavos (two types, KM 112 and KM 113). Two kinds of pesos (KM 114 and KM 115.1) were struck that year.

Recorded mintage: 80,000 for 1892-93.

Specification: 1.25 g, 0.835 fine silver, .033 troy oz ASW, 14 mm diameter.
