This is a (probable) copper-nickel pattern 40 para struck for Egypt, dated 1277 AH. It was sold at International Coin Exchange Ltd. Auction #2 on February 18, 2011, lot #83. The catalog description noted, "EGYPT. ABDUL AZIZ, AH1277-1293. Pattern 40 Para, AH1277/10 (1869). Obv: Toughra, denomination below. Rev: Inscriptions and date. Choice About Uncirculated. This rare pattern is probably in copper-nickel. 1.000€ / 1.200€."
