Steve Album sale 54, lot 2448

This specimen was lot 2448 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian IX, 1863-1906, AR 10 øre, 1904, unevenly toned, key date, ICG graded MS67." This type was struck in moderate numbers 1894, 1897, 1899, 1903-05. Earlier dates (KM 795.1, struck 1874-75, 1882-91) had mintmaster Diderik Christian Andreas Svendsen's initials "CS". This coin was struck to the same standard as the Swedish 10 öre.

Recorded mintage: 2,449,000.

Specification: 1.45 g, 0.400 fine silver, 15 mm diameter.
