This specimen was lot 74295 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $30. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 10 Ore, 1907-VBP GJ. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik VIII. PCGS MS-65. A tiny but incredibly crisp silver minor, offering radiant luster mingled with a hint of tone." This type was also struck 1910-12. This coin was struck to the same standard as the Swedish 10 öre. This specimen realized only one-third the catalog value, a common affliction among Danish coins of the decimal period.
