This specimen was lot 10289 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €1,080 (about US$1,126). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1689-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU-55. Lustrous example. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1686 and 1689. Varieties exist in the width of the monogram and the style of the drapery behind the shield. One krone was four mark or two-thirds speciedaler.
