This specimen was lot 75376 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. 1/2 Gulden, 1932. Berlin Mint. NGC MS-65. Exceptionally sharp and well struck, this entrancing Gem glistens with an abundance of radiant luster." Danzig, long part of Prussia and then Germany, was briefly independent 1919-39. Annexed by the Nazis, it fell to Poland in 1945 and was renamed Gdansk. This is a fairly common one year type.
