This two koruny is one of a type issued more or less continuously since 1993, about the time the Czechs obtained their divorce from the Slovaks. The SCWC notes that many of the dates were issued in small numbers, presumably for collector sets. The last date listed therein is 2013. This specimen was pulled from circulation.
Recorded mintage: 18,360,000 struck at Ottawa (leaf mintmark) plus 30,310,327 struck at Jablonec (shown here).
Specification: 3.7 g, Nickel Plated Steel, 21.5 mm diameter. Designer: Jarmila Truhlikova-Spevakova.
