This specimen was lot 1021 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $192. The catalog description^[1] noted, "CUBA: Republic, AR 10 pesos, 1997, Deng Xiaoping & Hong Kong Skyline, an extraordinary example, NGC graded PF69 Ultra Cameo." Cuba continued its spew of NCLT ten pesos in 1997, striking KM 590, 591, 592, 593, 594, 595, 596, 597, 598, 599, 600, 601, 602, 603, 604, 609, 613, KM 624, KM 625, 635, 650a, 667, 747, 748, KM 750 (shown here), 927, 928, 931, 932 and 944. This one celebrated Deng's successful reunification of Hong Kong with China.
