This specimen was lot 45746 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $405. The catalog description[1] noted, "CUBA. Centavo, 1961. Philadelphia Mint. NGC MS-65. Ex: EMO Collection." This type was struck at Philadelphia in 1946 and 1961. Soon after this was struck, the Castro regime was embargoed by the United States and the Philadelphia mint lost Cuba as a customer.

Specification: 2.5 g, copper-nickel, 17 mm diameter.
