This specimen was lot 33823 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "Cuba: Republic Centavo 1946 MS66 NGC, Philadelphia mint. Currently tied for the highest graded from NGC and with an extremely bold strike that makes the devices feel deep set. The reverse appears especially satin in finish with resplendent luster that is sure to delight." This type was struck 1946 and 1961 during the Machado dictatorship. It is common.
