Cuba 1970 centavo rev DSLR.jpg

This type was struck for Cuba 1963-82. Except for the change in composition, this type is essentially identical to the copper-nickel centavos of the previous regime (KM 9). Aluminum coins are generally not popular with collectors and this issue is no exception, having a derisory catalog value.

Recorded mintage: 50,000,000.

Specification: aluminum, plain edge.

Catalog reference: KM 33.1.
