The first specimen was part of lot 44348 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (4) 5 Decimos, 1875-1881. Medellin Mint. EF-40, EF-45 (2) (PCGS) & EF-40 (NGC). 4 pieces in lot. 1875/4, KM-153.4; Restrepo-297.4, gray toned with dark toning patch on reverse, 1875 B inside "O" of "ESTADOS", KM-153.5, Restrepo-297.5, 1880 stars with 7 points, Restrepo-298.7, full details present, gray toned, and 1881 stars with 7 points, struck with rusty dies, dark toning. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." The second specimen was part of lot 44293 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $85. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (3) 5 Decimos, 1871-1883. Various Mints. EF Detail--Bent, Cleaned, AU Detail--Surface Hairlines & AU Detail--Edge Damage (NGC). 3 pieces in lot. 1871-Bogota NGC EF Details--Bent, Cleaned, KM-153.1, Restrepo-293.4, some rim damage, retoning, 1881-Medellin stars with 7 points NGC AU Details, most details clear, cleaned, and 1883-Medellin stars with 7 points NGC AU Details, Restrepo-298.10, well struck with some hits on rim, untoned. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." The third specimen was part of lot 44386 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (3) 5 Decimos & (2) 50 Centavos, 1881-1889. Various Mints. VF-30, EF-40, & AU Detail--Cleaned (2) (PCGS) and EF-45 (NGC). 5 pieces in lot. Good selection of 5 Decimos and 50 Centavos types. 1881-Medellin 5 Decimos, lightly toned, 1886-Medellin 50 Centavos, Restrepo-313.1, lightly toned, 1887-Medellin 5 Decimos, KM-165, Restrepo-400.1, lighly cleaned but now retoning, 1888-Medellin 5 Decimos, KM-166, Restrepo-403.1, well struck, cleaned and largely untoned, and 1889-Bogota 50 Centavos, KM-186.1a, Restrepo-407.1a, evenly worn with attractive dark toning. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck 1877-85.
