This specimen was part of lot 42580 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), which sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (6) 2-1/2 Centavos & (3) 1/4 Decimos, 1875-86. PCGS Certified. 9 pieces in lot. Nice selection of different minors. ...1878, 1879, and 1880 1/4 Decimo, Restrepo type 248, KM-143.2a; ...From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck 1868-81 and perhaps 1888. It is seldom seen in decent condition.

Recorded mintage: unknown but few.

Specification: 0.85 g, 0.666 fine silver.
