This specimen was struck in Medellin, Colombia, in 1871. This type was struck at Bogotá 1862-66, Medellin 1863-71 and Popayán 1864-76. It is the most available ten pesos of the nineteenth century but all are expensive.

Recorded mintage: 6,018.

Specification: 16.13 g, 0.900 fine gold, .467 troy oz AGW.
