This type was struck 1823-36 at Popayán. It is somewhat common. Assayer FM is listed for 1822-30. The first specimen was lot 2954 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $265. The catalog description[1] noted, "Colombia. Escudo, 1824-FM (Popayán). Liberty head left. Reverse: Fasces between cornucopias. Flan flaws. Lustrous. NGC graded AU-53."
