Chur 1630 10 kreuzer KM-80
This specimen was lot 3305 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$106 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Graubünden, Chur, Bistum, Joseph Mohr von Zernez, 1627-1635. 10 Kreuzer 1630, Chur. Variante ohne Mitra über dem Wappen. Vorzüglich. Feine Kratzer und kleine zaponierte Stellen. (Switzerland, bishopric of Chur, Joseph Mohr, 1627-35, ten kreuzer of 1630, Chur mint, variety without miter over the arms. Extremely fine, Minor hairlines and small zaponized (lacquered) spots.)"
The bishop struck this type 1628-30 and the type with the miter (KM 84) 1630-35. Meanwhile, the city struck its own ten kreuzers (KM 228).
