This specimen was lot 54153 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 20 Yuan, 2013. Sacred Buddhist Mountain Series II, Mt. Putuo. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. KM-Unlisted. Featuring Mt. Putuo - Puji Temple. A brilliant Proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices. Sold with certificate of authenticity #98165." Mt. Putuo, in the East China Sea off Shanghai, is honored as the home of Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of mercy.
