This specimen was lot 54004 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Gold 1/10 Ounce, 1982. Panda Series. NGC MS-64. A brilliant prooflike strike with mirrored fields and frosty devices." This, the first panda, lacked a denomination, so is classed as a medal.
Recorded mintage: 75,000.
Specification: 3.11 g, 0.999 fine gold, 0.100 troy oz AGW.
