This specimen was lot 52137 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $12,000. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1908). Tientsin Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, Unc Details Gold Shield. Fully struck and sharply detailed with light hairlines in the centers and some milky cloudiness that appears around the outer legends."
