This specimen was lot 52153 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $3,120. The catalog description[1] noted, CHINA. 1 Mace 4.4 Candareens (20 Cents), ND (1908). Tientsin Mint. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Variety with no dot at end of tail. A sharply struck coin with abundant pleasing luster in the fields and a light touch of toning color on the raised devices."
