This specimen was lot 2889 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $690. The catalog description[1] noted, "Chile. 10 Pesos, 1851. Standing Liberty. First year of type. About Very Fine." This specimen was one of a series struck 1851-53 in Santiago, Chile. Two later types exist (KM 131 and KM 145), with slightly different designs for the arms and the standing Liberty.
